Every year, the World’s Most Ethical Companies honor… well, just that! The title is given out to only a handful of companies that maintain respectable and ethical practices. And Ford is one of them.
For the eighth year in a row, Ford has been put on the list of World’s Most Ethnical Companies. This isn’t just impressive for Ford – but impressive for any auto manufacturer, since they’re the only ones to hold the title for eight years straight.
It’s not easy to be named to the list. Ford works hard to make ethical choices in every area of their company. They have programs dedicated to human rights and always have strong commitment to their employees. They also have a commitment to the environment, sourcing only conflict-free minerals.
The list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies is compiled by Ethisphere® and considers only top companies that play a crucial role in changing society for the better.
Ford’s ethical commitment started all the way back when they instituted their famous “$5 Day” policy, giving factory workers shorter days and more pay than other companies. They hold that tradition strong to this day. It won’t be surprising if they’re named a World’s Most Ethical Company for a ninth year in a row!
