The off-road pickup truck segment is about to welcome a new competitor into the ring, and this one isn’t to be messed with. So far, Ford has been slowly releasing 2017 F-150 Raptor information, giving the public glimpses of its new design and equipment and promising a bigger, badder truck than ever before. Are you salivating yet? You should be, because the all-new Ford F-150 Raptor is set to carve out a path where no truck has gone before.
There’s a lot to love from what we already know about the new Raptor – big, all-terrain wheels custom-made for the truck, a big and bold design, a tuned suspension, a high-strength steel boxed frame, improved ground clearance, and more all work together to make this truck the best of the best. Ford really put their all into the new 2017 F-150 Raptor, including a brand-new 3.5-liter twin-turbo, for whom specs haven’t been released yet – though company reps promise it will crank out more power and torque than the previous generation.
While plenty of other brands offer off-roading trucks or models, the F-150 Raptor information we have so far promises us that the new, next-gen Raptor will be of a caliber not yet seen within the segment. You’ll have to get behind the wheel of one of these trucks in order to experience off-road-ready capability and dependability conceived, designed, and engineered from the ground-up.
